RRSat Satellite Communication signs a new contract with Gascom

Digital platform on Yamal 202 satellite at 49.0? East.

Gascom announced today that in one of the new contracts, RRSat has chosen the Yamal 202 satellite to operate a new C-Band digital platform on Gascom's satellite positioned at 49? East.

Its service zone covers the most inhabited part of Russia/CIS, Europe, the Near East, South and South-East Asia. Such service zone allows telecommunication "bridges" from West to East and from East to West. The new platform brings a completion to RRSAT Global Network, which includes 16 digital platforms and coverage of the entire globe.
