Ik heb geen idee , ik zou gewoon met m'n twee fun6 updaten en geen risico nemen ... maar ik kijk effe voor je ... vanavond weet je het want ik ben nu achter een andere PC en daar staat een bepaalde link niet op ...

Bij Satnerds staat een z??r uitvoerige omschrijving hoe dat moet.
Helaas staat er niet bij wat het nut is om MR in de Xtreme te stoppen en dat zou ik nou zo graag willen weten.

Bij Satnerts wordt de software geladen dmv de CasInterface, mijn vraag is dmv de UcasLoader.
De zelfde loader als de Matrix, maar iets anders !!

De MR in de Xstreem is veel makkelijker omdat je met de afstandbediening de key,s kan aanpassen.

Dit heb ik even geleend bij Tony Doe !
A) Programming the MR with UCAS Loader and .UPD file (similar to MM loader, connected to your PC via the serial cable but...) is what we'll describe here...
B) So, NOT CAS Interface, for which you need a .BIN file.
C) Also, NOT via the Fun cards for which you need .HEX files.
Software-wise you need the UCAS Loader V. 1.3 SW
Hardware-wise you need (you guessed it )
a) UCAS Loader or
b) Twin Loader (for both MM & UCAS, with jumpers, which you move as needed... - pins 2&3 on both jumpers for UCAS and thereby MR)
It goes into the MR contacs facing upwards.
I'll try remembering what I did exactly... Please correct me if/when I drop something out or if it's simply incorrect... ASAP, please, so someone doesn't follow the wrong advice... THANX!
I can't be doing it again just now, so it's not 100% accurate - most possibly!!! I.E. THE PROCEDURE ISN'T RECOMMENDED JUST YET!!! 8)
0) Be on an FTA channel, as Ech keeps reminding us!!!! All this is done in the Menu!!! To see them go to: Menu -> Common Interface -> MR 1.0x I had MR 1.03 in mine when I started...
1) start your Windows Downloading application UCAS Loader v. 1.3 (see attached!)
1. push the MR, with the UCAS Loader in, to your free CI slot, and if you get "This card is not valid for your..." click on OK. The green light goes on and off.....
2. (You're in: Menu -> Common Interface -> MR 1.0x) Next, go to -> Setup -> Upgrade Firmware -> OK
3) Now, in your SW (UCAS Loader V 1.3) go to -> Settings -> Serial -> COM port 1 -> Settings -> Serial -> 57600 -> File -> Select -> choose a File ->(MR 1.05.upd, in this case)
3a) If "Erasing old data, please wait..." comes - WAIT!! Then "Insert card 1 or serial dummy card" comes up or whatever (not 100% sure, so please help with the details, this is written by heart, so to speak...)
4. "Performing serial download" comes up -> click on "Download now" IMMEDIATELY (we're talking your PC screen now...)
5) Wait untill "Download complete. Copying image and re-booting" or something to that effect comes up. DO NOT HURRY UP HERE!!! There are some acts the module has to perform before it's really over and they take longer than it seems!!!
Take the MR out and after a few secs put it back in... If after a few times you still haven't got (talking TV Menu now) MR 1.05, then take the modul out and put your receiver into Standby, ON again and repeat the procedure untill you get MR 1.05.
DO NOT KILL THE POWER AT THE BACK - YOU'LL KILL THE MODULE THAT WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the difference with the previous versions of MR!!! You can put it to Standby with the Module inserted but not kill the power off!!! Try changing the CI slot, in case you're having problems initialising the module in order to get MR 1.05 in your rec's Menu.....
Samsung has a problem initialising the module, guys - so I took it out and put it into Humax F1 VACI, which wasn't even connected to the dish, only to my TV via a SCART cable - in your Menu on the TV screen you'll get CAM Initialising and then MR 1.05 should appear! It only took me 2 attempts and 2 dozen in Sammy without any results...

Potverdome, ik moet nog een computerkabeltje er bij kopen, de aansluiting op de Ucasloader is precies andersom als van de Matrixloader. Ucas pinnetjes, Matrix Gaatjes.
