Dit is wel een hele uitgebreide skin, met zeer veel mogelijkheden. Maar het resultaat vinden wij geweldig. Een waarschuwing is op zijn plaats: wij denken dat een beginnend gebruiker wel enige tijd nodig heeft om alles "tot zich te nemen". Wat een mogelijkheden en instellingen.

Bestand kopi?ren naar /tmp op je ontvanger en

OE 2.2/OE 2.5: installeren met: dpkg -i /tmp/enigma2-skin-hdglass16_11.77_all.deb.
OE 2.0..........: installeren met: opkg install /tmp/enigma2-skin-hdglass16_11.77_all.ipk.

Daarna E2/GUI herstarten gevolgd door de skin via het menu (Instellingen-Systeem-Skin) te selecteren

HDGlass instellingen toegankelijk via menu: Instellingen - HDGlass instellingen

Eenmaal in de HDGlass instellingen kun je via menu allerlei dingen downloaden: zoals iconen, schermen, weerbericht dingen, picons, en nog veel meer. Aanbevolen wordt deze niet direct op een USB stick of zo te laten plaatsen, doch eerst via menu het juiste pad opgeven). In ieder geval (vanwege het frequent aanroepen) bij voorkeur niet op een HDD laten plaatsen.

Alle opties een voor een nalopen en beginnen met de paden. Daarna via de optie download menu, dingen downloaden. Daarna scherm kiezen, kleur bewerken enz enz. Let op cursor verplaats je via de blauwe knop en selecteren van een optie gaat met de gele.

Heb je dat gedaan, dan de instellingen in de hele lange lijsten rechts naast het scherm goed zetten (hier verplaats je de cursor wel met de pijltjes toetsen). Kijk niet raar op indien Enigma2/GUI regelmatig wordt herstart.

TIP:
Met deze skin kan een (uiteraard) mooie weersvoorspelling op het scherm worden getoond (via menu als wel via de blauwe knop. De gegevens worden van MSN of yahoo gehaald. Meerdere steden/plaatsen tonen is mogelijk door in /etc het bestand city_Code.txt aan te passen. Zelfs kun je in dat bestand aangeven per plaats of je Celsius of Fahrenheit wilt. Er was ??n nadeel: als je een bestand had met je eigen plaatsen er in werd die elke keer bij een update van de skin overschreven. Op ons verzoek is dat opgelost. Verander daartoe de naam van het bestand /etc/city_Code.txt in: my_city_Code.txt. Heb je meerdere steden in dat bestand staan dan kun je in het weeroverzicht de plaats veranderen door (erg) lang op de ">" toets van je AB te drukken.

P.S. voor degene die scherm33 het mooiste vindt, kunnen en willen wij op afstand (TeamViewer of SSH naar je ontvanger) hulp bieden !!

Beide downloads zijn gelijk: de ene voor OE2.0 en de andere voor DreamOS
Screenshots zijn mogelijk, maar bedenk dat in deze skin je wel meer dan 25 verschillende "scherm layouts" hebt en dus kunt kiezen en dan heb je per scherm ook nog de mogelijkheid voor een extra infobar.

Jemig zeer onduidelijk en verwarrend geschreven. Dank voor je melding. E.e.a. angepast. Waar het om gaat/ging is het volgende:

In de instellingen kun je de cursor verplaatsen met de blauwe knop en een gekozen selectie kiezen met de gele. Als je dat doet zie je eerst de optie "downloaden" en daaronder ergens de optie om het pad aan te passen. Ligt voor de hand dus dat iemand van boven naar beneden gaat werken en dus eerst gaat downloaden en daarna het pas goed zetten.

We bedoelden dus: niet direct naar USB schrijven maar eerst het juiste pad opgeven en als dat is gedaan dan naar usb schrijven.

Tip in eerste bericht aangepast: de weersvoorspelling kan zowel van MSN als yahoo komen. Wij hebben MSN geselecteerd omdat yahoo de laatste tijd niet werkte (vanwege de vele veranderingen voor login). We zijn overigens bezig met een nieuwe "weerprovider" waardoor de voorspelling nog meer dagen bevat. Vanaf v10.48 kun je zelf (in de HDG instellingen) de kleur kiezen voor de maximum en minimum temperaturen

In v10.48 hebben we de functie van de bouquet knoppen op de AB laten omdraaien, zodat deze gelijk zijn aan die DMM gebruikt. Met de bouquet knoppen kun je in de HDG instellingen (rechts) direct naar het volgende/vorige "hoofdstuk" springen. Dan hoef je niets steeds het pijltje omhoog/omlaag te gebruiken
